George Spreitzer Resident Scholarship
The Mid-Atlantic AHMA established its scholarship "boost award" program in 2017 and in 2018 re-named it for long-time Board President and member, George Spreitzer, who championed the concept of a resident scholarship program for many years. The George Spreitzer Resident Scholarship provides for up to $7,500 to be awarded annually to a MA-AHMA recipient(s) of the NAHMA Educational Scholarship as a boost to that award. The NAHMA Foundation awards are typically for $3,500. Recognizing the ever-increasing cost of higher education, it is our hope that our "boost" awards will both encourage more of our residents to apply for a NAHMA Educational Foundation scholarship while also providing a more substantial award to a few lucky and worthy MA-AHMA member property residents. No additional application is required to be eligible for a George Spreitzer Scholarship.
