The Mid-Atlantic AHMA was established in 1993 and began sponsoring an annual conference each fall two years later. Now in it’s 28th year, the Annual Mid-Atlantic AHMA Affordable Multi-Family Rental Housing Conference, known simply as “THE Fall Conference,” is the only conference in the Mid-Atlantic area that focuses exclusively on issues of concern to those responsible for managing and maintaining affordable multi-family rental housing communities. . .but, the word “affordable” in our more formal conference title alludes to more than the type of community we serve, it also reflects our commitment to providing affordable training to our members and others. The provision of affordable, world-class training is central to our mission and an objective to which we have remained loyal even as our training calendar expanded from a once-a-year event to a full slate of training opportunities, virtual and classroom, throughout the year. This year’s Fall Conference, like its predecessors, will focus on critical issues to your success, shed light and clarity on complex new regulations and prepare you to excel in 2024.

True to our mission, we offer plenty of sessions that will provide all the information and practical tips you’ll need to stay in compliance with new regulations like HOTMA and NSPIRE. . .while we also tackle, with a full track of sessions, troubling staffing trends while also offering a number of general interest and personal/professional development sessions. Experienced or new, Tax Credit or Section 8, assistant manager, manager or regional, leasing or compliance specialist, or maintenance personnel---we’ve got something for everyone!
